Technology's Impact on Design. Opening March 28, 2008, this exhibit explores how technology changes material culture, from hand-crafted, small-scale products to mass-produced, machine-made factory goods. Innovations in technology, materials, and design feed the ever-changing taste of consumer culture, transforming the household and the way people interact with their environment.
